How
We Calculate Your Costs
All costs for
services are discussed and mutually agreed upon in advance of each assignment.
Except where
a flat rate fee has been determined, the cost of services will be based upon the type and complexity of the request, the amount
of time required to complete, and in certain instances, the urgency of the request.
The following
are costing methods we typically use to determine the cost of service. |
Flat Fee – a fixed amount charged for standard items like
a Resume or Brochure |
|
Hourly Rate – a fee for services based on time expended,
i.e., research projects, rounded up to the nearest quarter of an hour |
|
Project Based Fee – a fee charged for projects that do not fall
under the flat or hourly fee rates. For example, if the hourly rate totals to an amount greater than what is reasonable for
the project, we would then agree upon an inclusive flat rate. |
|
Retainer Fee – an agreed upon amount paid before commencement
of the work requested. The retainer never exceeds the total amount quoted for the project and is applied toward the balance
due. All work requested is subject to a retainer fee, which is usually fifty percent of the total cost of service. |
